How to use PDF Page Size Checker

What it does
- Shows each page in points, millimetres and inches.
- Detects common paper sizes such as A4, A5, Letter and Legal.
- Flags pages whose crop box is smaller than the media box, and pages with a rotation.
Limits and things to know
- Paper size detection compares the page box against standard sizes with a small tolerance; unusual sizes are reported as their exact dimensions instead.
- The report does not measure artwork inside the page.
- Page labels from the document are shown when the file defines them.

Finding the odd page in a mixed document
Add a document where the first two pages are A4 and the rest are US Letter. The report lists every page separately and shows which pages match which standard size.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between MediaBox and CropBox?
The MediaBox is the full page. The CropBox is the part a viewer shows, and when it is smaller the rest is treated as trimmed away.
Does rotation change the reported page size?
No. The reported width and height are the page box itself. Rotation is listed separately so you can tell whether the page is turned.
Can I fix a wrong page size here?
Not directly. Resizing pages changes the document layout, and this tool only reports what is there.
