Local processing

  • Files are read in your browser and are never uploaded to a server.
  • Nothing is stored after you close or reload the page.

How to use Rotate PDF

  1. Add the PDF file.
  2. Choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise.
  3. Optionally limit the pages to rotate, then press Rotate PDF.

What it does

  • Turns a page by setting its rotation, so no pixels are lost and text stays sharp.
  • Can rotate a subset such as 1,3-4 while leaving other pages untouched.
  • You can run the tool again on the result to reach any final orientation.

Limits and things to know

  • Rotation is always clockwise; 270 degrees left is the same as 90 degrees clockwise.
  • Images that were already placed sideways inside the page are not corrected.
  • Rotated pages keep their original paper size, so text may extend past the visible edge.

Example

Straightening a phone scan

A page scanned sideways usually needs 90 degrees clockwise. Add the file, choose 90 degrees, leave pages on all, and download the corrected copy.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating make the file smaller?

No. Rotation only changes how each page is displayed, so the file size stays about the same.

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Enter the page number in the pages field, for example 1, and only that page turns.

Why does text stick out past the page edge after rotating?

The page keeps its paper size while the content turns. Rotate the page back and resize the page itself if you need the text to fit.
