SVG to PNG
Turn vector artwork into a raster PNG at a size you control. The file is parsed and cleaned first, so a script tag or a remote image cannot run or load anything.

Waiting for files
Accepted input
- SVG files, up to 10 at a time
Limits
- Up to 20 MB per image and 10 images per batch.
- Up to 40 megapixels per image, checked before the pixels are allocated.
- Fonts referenced by the SVG are not downloaded; text falls back to a local font.
Local processing
- Files are read in your browser and are never uploaded to a server.
- Nothing is stored after you close or reload the page.
- The SVG is sanitised before it reaches the renderer, so no external request is made for its contents.
How to use SVG to PNG
- Add an SVG file with the drop zone or the file chooser.
- Set the output width and height, and turn transparency on or off.
- Press Convert SVG to PNG and download the raster file.
What it does
- Removes script elements, event handlers, foreignObject and external references before rendering.
- Honours the viewBox when the aspect ratio is kept, so nothing is cut off.
- Reports the exact pixel size of the PNG it produced.
Limits and things to know
- Embedded HTML, scripts and remote images are removed, so those parts do not appear in the PNG.
- CSS animation and SMIL animation are stripped; the first frame is all you get.
- Text is rendered with a local font, which can look different from the design machine.
Example
Turning a 64×32 logo into a 512×256 PNG
Keep the aspect ratio on, set 512 and 256, and turn transparency on. The viewBox decides the drawing, so the circle stays circular instead of being stretched.
Frequently asked questions
Will it run code inside my SVG?
No. Script elements, event handlers, foreignObject, external links and SMIL animation are removed before the file is rendered, and nothing is fetched from the network.
Why is my SVG rendered at the wrong size?
The width and height attributes decide the output box. If the drawing looks cropped, turn the aspect ratio off or match the viewBox proportions.
Is the background really transparent?
Yes, when transparency is on the PNG keeps an alpha channel and the background colour is unused.
Runs entirely in your browser on ap98.com. Files are never uploaded.
